Hands-on in the Fields of Pui O: Our Nature Craft Workshops

At JK Club, workshops don't happen in a classroom. They happen on the lawns, in the vegetable garden and beside the wetlands of Pui O. We believe that making things together, children and adults side by side, is the most direct way to get to know nature.

Creative Space: Turning Plants into Art

Plant-dyed silk scarves and cards, natural-dye bandanas and tote bags, and cyanotype (sun) prints — using leaves, flowers and sunlight to leave a pattern behind. We also run seasonal workshops around festivals, such as Chinese New Year couplets, Easter eggs and hand-painted Mid-Autumn lanterns.

Farm to Table

Homemade jam, pesto pasta, roselle, Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings… Children wash, cut and cook the ingredients they have picked, and take the flavours home with them.

Eco Corner: Making Something New

Eco household soap, night-blooming jasmine soap, weaving with old T-shirts and handmade recycled paper — showing that "waste" can become something useful.

Outdoor Living: Slowing Down

Early-morning yoga and starlight sound-bath yoga in the evening; nature walks through the Pui O wetlands, summer-night frog spotting, beach treasure hunts, and visits to the goats on our farm.
